nate "sixteen middle names" summers

Time displaced son of Scott Summers and Madelyne Pryor (and later Jean Grey), father of Hope Summers, former squad leader of the New Mutants, founder of X-Force. Over the course of his life, Nathan Summers has been many things to many people, from hero to villain and everything in-between, but it's his upbringing as the prophesied messiah destined to save humanity and mutantkind that truly defines him. His controlling personality and, at times, extreme methods can cause him to butt heads with the very people he's trying to help, but underneath his grim demeanor is a man who deeply cares about others and is prepared to lay down his life for their well-being without a second thought.

Headstrong and stubborn, Cable remains determined to save the world at any cost — whether it likes it or not.
